A Second Chance at Love

Out of Touch and Out of Time

Nathan Santucci and Erica Corenblith originally met in 2001 while he was on tour with the show “Penn and Teller.” Santucci and Corenblith exchanged information, but did not ever get in touch with each other until the next year when Corenblith was visiting Las Vegas while on vacation. They stayed in touch almost daily and even had their first visit with each other planed for September 12, 2001. While history had other plans for the duo whose trip was now cut short to 24 hours, it was the beginning of a long-distance relationship. Two weeks after Corenblith graduated, she packed a bag and booked a one-way ticket to Las Vegas.

Paris Proposal

In the winter of 2010, during a trip to Paris, while walking by The Louvre, with her cousin, Corenblith was surprised to find Nathan who had come to visit with a surprise of his own. On their last in Paris, Santucci took Corenblith to the top of the Eiffel Tower and proposed.

The Venue

Nine months later, they were married at The Lake Club in Lake Las Vegas. They chose The Lake Club because “The venue is very reminiscent of Tuscany, which is one of my favorite places,” says Corenblith.

Vintage Visions

For the ceremony, the bride selected vintage accessories form her grandparents to compliment her vintage theme. “The necklace and bracelet were from my father’s mother and the shoes and earrings were from my mother’s mother. The hand mirror was from my great grandmother and Nate’s Wedding ring is from my father’s grandfather,” says Corenblith. Nine months later, on Friday May 13, they were married at the Lake Club in Lake Las Vegas. Ten years together and they are still on the adventure, still partners in crime, still laughing, still completely in love.

Advice to Brides

Ten years of being in love, they are truly just beginning their adventure. And Corenblith is happy to share some wisdom with future brides, “Get a wedding planner, especially if a lot of your guests from out of town. Choose someone who is detached from the emotional side of the wedding, not a friend or family member. I had a tremendous amount of help in the planning of the wedding, of which I am truly grateful. But having someone on that day to deal with the little things would’ve made things a little easier,” she says.
