Las Vegas Marriage License Details
There is no blood test or waiting period in Nevada. You must be 18 unless you have your parents’ consent. Each party must have a state ID, military ID, passport, or original birth certificate. Social security numbers are also required. Your marriage license will be good for one year from the time you secure it.
The marriage license fee is $55, and it must be paid in cash. There must be at least one additional witness other than the person performing the ceremony. Those couples who reside outside the U.S. will need to provide proof of their birthdates, such as a passport or other country-issued ID, in order to obtain a marriage license. There is no other special documentation that will need to be provided. Those couples will need to contact officials in their country of origin to find out how to register their marriage at home.
